A sinking ship that grows from the water to create a chillaxation place overlooking Dream City, activating in this way a dead empty lake

THE CONTEXT_”Roskilde Festival” is an international citation where different areas of the art and music scene meet annually and spend a week together creating an ephemeral city of over 130,000 people, where no matter where you come from or what you do: the important thing is to have fun!

It is not an urban context itself but an event halfway between a city, a camping or an amusement park: people dress up in groups and play, enjoy concerts and many other artistic events.

THE PROJECT_In this context, a desert lakeside, empty, dead, where the trash accumulates; and iconic artifact of great presence appears out of nowhere, a shipwreck that creates a relaxing space activating an environment doomed to be a giant urinal.

The view from the front leaves his side the main circulation paths around the lake, like a ship dividing the sea in its way, while the opposite side creates a chill out space to the south with stairs to sit and enjoy a good view to the lake, the geodesic dome or the led screen.

The project could also incorporate a solar panel on its upper stage and usb sockets in seats to charge mobile phones, thus solving a problem increasingly frequented. The possible future addition of artificial lighting would create a landmark night, an iconic lighthouse!

On the other hand, the project expands around creating rest areas by joining simple items such as bouncing balls, assimilating into water bubbles that move and make reflections creating a more realistic effect. The combination of complementary colors such as red and cyan make this performance a visually appealing, simple and really comfortable space.
