Trincea | Ledro Land Art

L’installazione consiste in una percorso realizzato attraverso la sovrapposizione di sacchi fino a formare uno spazio percorribile.

Il tema della trincea è da un lato legato alla memoria storica, dall’altro consente di ottenere un luogo a cielo aperto da esplorare.

Lo scopo è di produrre uno spazio intermedio tra l’opera dell’uomo e l’opera della natura. I sacchi di juta sono riempiti di terra e sassi e cosparsi di semi.

L’opera si rifà al tema del labirinto come luogo per perdersi e ritrovarsi. Nel tempo la germinazione dei semi posti all’interno dei sacchi renderanno il manufatto parte integrante del paesaggio, come una sorta di nuova rovina romantica.

The installation consists in a three-dimensional trail that can be explored, obtained with the superimposition of sacks.

The theme of the trench on the one hand is connected with the historical memory, on the other generates an open air environment that can be explored.

The main objective is to produce a space in balance between the work of nature and the work of man. The jute sacks are filled with earth and stones and covered with seeds.

The work is inspired by the theme of the labyrinth, a place to get lost and find yourself again. With the passing of time seeds germination will occur, and slowly the jute sacks will become part of the surrounding landscape, a sort of a new romantic ruin.
