Barueri is a city in great financial and economic affirmation. The Gala Complex will rise in this city and includes an offices tower, a shopping center, a hotel, a medical facility, gardens and public plazas. Reflecting the spirit of change and dynamism that the city is experiencing, the Gala Complex will be crucial for Barueri’s development as a new financial center in Brazil.

So, our intention was to develop a whole new concept of project, integrated into the new economical centre of this region. With this design we pretended an exclusive, emblematic, contemporaneously and functional architectural project. With an expressive architecture, this complex is intended to be the affirmation of modernity and quality in Barueri.

Concept: Our proposal was based on the urban and morphologic system of this region. We pretended to project four towers which are destinated to an office building, a medical facility, hotel and flat purposes.

- The first tower is the closest to the avenue and it is the office building. With 18 storey’s, this tower is constituted by a central point with accesses and services across the building. - The medical facility is based in the second building composed, also by 18 storeys. This tower has an identical structure of the first one, however, allowing a different spatial organization. - The third tower will be composed by Hotels and Flats. With 23 storey’s, this building, will have in the last floor services like a Restaurant, an Academy, a Spa, a Swimming Pool, a Solarium, etc. The main entrance will integrate support areas, the reception desk and other spaces destinated to conventions. - With the same structure, the fourth tower is composed only by apartments with no more than two bedrooms. With a total construction area of 100.000 sqm and a parking lot to 3.580 cars, the Gala Complex, is organized in four independent but interdependent buildings. This complex has four axis of circulation. The first one is parallel to the avenue and the second and third axes are attached to the perpendicular streets to the main avenue. At least, the final axis is behind the complex and will allow access to service automobiles and parking lot.
