This project is based on the idea of sustainability, continuity of landscape and connections between living inner space and the garden. The house integrates the most progressive passive and active energy systems and stability of the interior climate. The sustainability concept is met through 3 elements: 1) grass roof is the unique surface of the house /except glass openings/; 2) thorough system of energetic self-sufficiency comprises recuperation connected to ground pump and solar panels; 3) the module envelope meets the criteria of passive constructions standards. It is roofed with a fero-concrete shell on three wall legs divided by glassed openings all along the module outer limits. Green roof secures an optimal climate. It connects directly and continuously with the garden surrounding the house. Hexagonal shell, simple organic form, allowed to exploit fully flat and slab elements in it’s construction. The space opens to exterior through big glass walls with sliding windows.
