The facility is divided into two floors above the ground plus a basement level. The ground floor with the main access form the Avinguda de Valencia houses the traditional market’s first area of stalls, which features a single, high-rise space highly visible form the street, perfectly lit by a large skylight that floods the sales floor with natural light. On the same level and int the basement, we find a supermarket and, on the top floor, facilities for a day centre for he elderly. The interior of the market is organized as if it were a urban street, with stalls along the route. This inner passage also welcomes people coming from la Plaça de Cappont ant the Career Sant Joan de Mata, allowing for a fluid flow of traffic through the spaces between the stalls.
